How much financing can AEXX Impact provide for a project?
AEXX Impact always acts as a long-term minority co-investor, ensuring balanced governance and shared commitment between partners.
Can a project financed by AEXX Impact also receive other European or public grants?
No. Projects that are financed through AEXX Impact cannot receive additional Public European funding for the same eligible costs.
Does AEXX Impact act as an active or passive co-investor?
AEXX Impact acts as a passive minority co-investor. We participate under the pari passu terms (sharing same risks and return) but we do not take management control or operational roles within the project.
When does AEXX Impact plan to exit its investments?
Our timelines are designed for the long term, in alignment with the EIB framework:
- Equity Investments: A maximum divestment horizon of 15 years.
- Loans (On-lending): A maximum horizon of 20 years, extending up to 30 years specifically for social and affordable housing projects.
